OVERVIEW
Welcome to Slab Gear Vault. The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Slab Gear Vault.
Slab Gear Vault operates this website and online store, including the information, content, features, tools, products, and services made available through it (collectively, the “Services”). Our store is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”), together with our Privacy Policy, Return & Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and any other policies posted on our website, govern your access to and use of the Services and your purchases from Slab Gear Vault.
By visiting, accessing, using, or purchasing through our website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Services.
SECTION 1 — ELIGIBILITY, ACCOUNT INFORMATION, AND ACCURACY
By using the Services, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state of residence or that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Services.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate information when placing an order or creating an account, including your name, email address, billing information, and shipping address.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account.
You may not use false information, impersonate another person, use another person's payment information without authorization, or otherwise use the Services for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
SECTION 2 — PRODUCTS AND PRODUCT INFORMATION
We make reasonable efforts to accurately describe and display our products. However, colors, textures, dimensions, finishes, materials, and other visual characteristics may appear differently depending on your screen, lighting conditions, manufacturing variations, photography, or other factors.
Minor variations between individual products or production runs that do not materially affect the product's intended function are not considered defects.
Unless specifically stated otherwise in a product listing, trading cards, graded cards, card holders, slabs, accessories, or other items shown in product photography are for demonstration purposes only and are not included with the purchase.
Product descriptions, specifications, availability, colors, features, materials, pricing, and designs may be changed or discontinued without notice.
We reserve the right to limit quantities available to any customer, address, geographic area, reseller, or order.
SECTION 3 — SLAB COMPATIBILITY AND THIRD-PARTY BRANDS
Slab Gear Vault products may be designed to accommodate commonly used graded trading card holders or “slabs.”
References to grading companies or brands such as PSA, CGC, Beckett, TAG, or other third-party companies are used only to describe product compatibility.
Slab Gear Vault is an independent brand and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or officially associated with these companies unless expressly stated otherwise.
Because third-party manufacturers may change slab dimensions, materials, designs, or specifications, compatibility with every past, present, or future version of a particular slab is not guaranteed unless expressly stated.
Customers are responsible for confirming that their specific item is appropriate for use with the product.
SECTION 4 — PRODUCT USE AND COLLECTIBLES DISCLAIMER
Slab Gear Vault products are carrying, organization, and display accessories.
They are not safes, security devices, insurance products, archival storage systems, waterproof containers, impact-proof containers, or guarantees against theft, loss, fading, scratching, moisture, heat, sunlight, impact, or other damage.
Customers are responsible for deciding whether a Slab Gear Vault product provides an appropriate level of protection for the value, rarity, or condition of the property they choose to place inside it.
Any statement describing a product or material as water-repellent, water-resistant, UV-treated, UV-resistant, protective, padded, reinforced, or similar describes a particular product characteristic or treatment and does not mean that the product is waterproof, completely UV-proof, indestructible, theft-proof, or guaranteed to prevent damage.
Water-repellent does not mean waterproof.
UV treatment or UV resistance does not guarantee that cards, slabs, labels, autographs, artwork, or other materials will never fade, discolor, or deteriorate from prolonged exposure to sunlight or ultraviolet radiation.
Customers should use appropriate care when carrying valuable collectibles and should regularly inspect straps, zippers, closures, seams, display areas, and other components before use.
Do not intentionally overload, misuse, excessively stretch, submerge, expose to extreme temperatures, or otherwise use a product outside its intended purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Slab Gear Vault is not responsible for the market value, replacement value, appreciation, depreciation, sentimental value, or collectible value of cards, slabs, cash, electronics, personal property, or other items placed inside or used with our products.
SECTION 5 — ORDERS AND ORDER ACCEPTANCE
Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase products from Slab Gear Vault.
An automated order confirmation does not necessarily constitute final acceptance of an order. We reserve the right to accept, reject, limit, hold, or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including because of:
- suspected fraud or unauthorized payment activity;
- payment verification issues;
- incorrect pricing or product information;
- inventory errors;
- duplicate orders;
- unusual purchasing patterns;
- suspected abuse of promotional offers;
- inaccurate or incomplete customer information;
- shipping restrictions; or
- quantities that appear intended for unauthorized commercial resale.
If we cancel a paid order before shipment, we will issue the appropriate refund to the original payment method.
We may request additional information reasonably necessary to verify an order before fulfillment.
SECTION 6 — CANCELLATIONS
Customers may request cancellation of eligible orders while the order remains unfulfilled, subject to the cancellation rules displayed through our store.
Once an order has entered fulfillment, has been processed for shipment, or a shipping label has been purchased or created, we may be unable to cancel or modify the order.
The availability of a cancellation request does not guarantee that the order can be stopped if processing or shipment has already occurred.
Nothing in this section limits cancellation or refund rights that cannot legally be limited, including rights that may apply when an order cannot be shipped within a promised or legally required timeframe.
SECTION 7 — RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Eligible products may be returned within 30 days after delivery in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.
Products must meet the return eligibility requirements described in that policy.
We do not charge a restocking fee for eligible returns.
For ordinary returns, including returns resulting from a change of mind, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
If an eligible product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect due to an error by Slab Gear Vault, we will cover appropriate return shipping costs.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable for ordinary returns unless otherwise required by law or stated in our Return & Refund Policy.
Items specifically identified as Final Sale are not eligible for return unless required by applicable law.

SECTION 8 — SHIPPING, DELIVERY, AND CUSTOMER ADDRESS RESPONSIBILITY
Shipping and delivery dates are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.
We are not responsible for carrier delays or other delivery delays outside our reasonable control, subject to any rights provided by applicable law.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address before an order is fulfilled.
Slab Gear Vault is not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or improperly entered shipping information provided by the customer.
If a package is returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address, refusal of delivery, failure to retrieve a package, or another circumstance attributable to the customer, the customer may be responsible for the cost of reshipping the order.
If the customer elects to receive a refund instead of reshipment in such circumstances, original shipping charges may be non-refundable to the extent permitted by law.
Customers should contact us promptly if tracking information indicates a delivery problem.
Where tracking from the shipping carrier confirms delivery to the shipping address provided with the order, Slab Gear Vault is not responsible, to the fullest extent permitted by law, for theft, loss, misplacement, or disappearance occurring after confirmed delivery.
This section does not limit any rights that cannot legally be waived.
SECTION 9 — DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT ORDERS
Customers should inspect their order promptly after delivery.
If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us as soon as reasonably possible at slabgearvault@gmail.com.
We may request reasonable documentation such as photographs of the product, packaging, shipping label, or damage so that we can evaluate the issue and, where appropriate, submit a claim with the shipping carrier.
We reserve the right to determine the appropriate remedy, subject to applicable law, which may include replacement, repair, store credit, partial refund, or full refund.
SECTION 10 — PRICING, PROMOTIONS, AND PAYMENT
Prices, discounts, product availability, and promotions may change without notice.
The price charged will generally be the price displayed at checkout when the order is submitted, subject to correction of obvious pricing or technical errors.
Applicable taxes, shipping charges, and other charges will be displayed when required.
Promotional codes have no cash value and may be subject to expiration dates, product restrictions, customer restrictions, minimum purchase requirements, or other conditions.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotional codes and discounts may not be combined.
We reserve the right to cancel orders, remove discounts, or restrict future promotional use where we reasonably determine that a promotion has been abused, manipulated, duplicated, or used contrary to its stated terms.
You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method submitted with your order and that the information you provide is accurate.
SECTION 11 — FRAUD, PAYMENT DISPUTES, AND CHARGEBACKS
We reserve the right to review, hold, cancel, or refund orders that our payment processor, fraud-prevention systems, or reasonable internal review identify as potentially fraudulent or unauthorized.
We may maintain records relating to orders, payments, delivery tracking, fraud screening, customer communications, return requests, and acceptance of store policies for legitimate business, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution purposes.
If you believe there is a problem with an order or charge, we encourage you to contact us at slabgearvault@gmail.com so that we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a customer from exercising lawful rights available through their bank, credit card issuer, payment provider, or applicable consumer-protection law.
If a payment dispute or chargeback is initiated, Slab Gear Vault reserves the right to contest the dispute and provide relevant records, including order information, tracking and delivery confirmation, customer communications, fraud-screening information, and applicable store policies.
We may refuse future orders where we reasonably believe there has been fraud, unauthorized payment activity, repeated return abuse, promotional abuse, or abusive use of the dispute process.
SECTION 12 — WHOLESALE AND RESALE
Products purchased through the standard Slab Gear Vault consumer storefront are intended primarily for end users unless otherwise agreed.
Authorized wholesale, vendor, dealer, distributor, or resale relationships may be permitted under separate pricing, terms, agreements, or written approval from Slab Gear Vault.
No provision in these Terms prevents an authorized Slab Gear Vault wholesale or vendor relationship.
We reserve the right to limit or cancel purchases that appear to be made for unauthorized bulk resale, marketplace arbitrage, or distribution where no wholesale or resale arrangement has been authorized.
SECTION 13 — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Slab Gear Vault website and its contents, including trademarks, trade names, logos, graphics, photographs, videos, product descriptions, written content, packaging, marketing materials, product designs, and other original materials, are owned by or licensed to Slab Gear Vault and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Certain Slab Gear Vault product designs may also be the subject of pending or issued intellectual property rights, including patent rights where applicable.
You may not reproduce, copy, manufacture, distribute, modify, sell, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from our protected content or designs without prior written authorization except where permitted by law.
Slab Gear Vault's name, logos, branding, designs, and slogans may not be used in a manner that suggests affiliation, sponsorship, authorization, or endorsement without our written permission.
Third-party trademarks appearing on our Services belong to their respective owners.
SECTION 14 — THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS
Our Services may include links, applications, payment methods, shipping tools, social-media integrations, or other services provided by third parties.
We do not control these third-party services and are not responsible for their independent acts, omissions, content, policies, availability, or security.
Your use of third-party services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies provided by those third parties.
SECTION 15 — RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY
Slab Gear Vault is powered by Shopify, which provides ecommerce infrastructure that enables us to offer the Services.
Purchases from the Slab Gear Vault store are transactions directly between you and Slab Gear Vault.
Shopify is not the seller of Slab Gear Vault products and is not responsible for the products purchased from us or for fulfillment of transactions between you and Slab Gear Vault.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you release Shopify and its affiliates from claims arising solely from transactions between you and Slab Gear Vault for which Shopify is not legally responsible.
SECTION 16 — PRIVACY
Personal information collected through the Services is handled according to our Privacy Policy, which is available through the policy links on our website.
Because our store is powered by Shopify, Shopify and other service providers may process certain information necessary to operate our store, process payments, prevent fraud, provide shipping and ecommerce functionality, and otherwise provide the Services.

SECTION 17 — REVIEWS, PHOTOS, AND FEEDBACK
If you voluntarily submit reviews, photographs, videos, suggestions, ideas, testimonials, comments, or other content to Slab Gear Vault (“Feedback”), you represent that you have the right to provide that content.
You grant Slab Gear Vault a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable license to reproduce, display, publish, adapt, distribute, and use that Feedback for lawful business, promotional, advertising, social-media, and marketing purposes.
You retain any ownership rights you otherwise have in your original content.
You may not submit content that infringes another person's intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights or that contains unlawful or malicious material.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to prohibit or penalize an honest review or lawful expression of a customer's genuine opinion or experience.
SECTION 18 — ERRORS AND OMISSIONS
Occasionally information on the Services may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, technical errors, or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, shipping charges, availability, or other information.
We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, or cancel affected orders where reasonably necessary, including after an order has been submitted.
If a paid order is canceled because of an error on our part, the appropriate refund will be issued.
SECTION 19 — PROHIBITED USES
You may not use the Services:
- for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;
- to violate applicable laws or regulations;
- to infringe intellectual property rights;
- to impersonate another person or entity;
- to submit false payment or account information;
- to transmit malware or harmful code;
- to scrape, crawl, harvest, or extract data in a manner that interferes with the Services;
- to attempt to circumvent website security;
- to engage in payment fraud or card testing;
- to manipulate promotions, discounts, reviews, returns, or referral programs;
- to interfere with other users' access to the Services; or
- to use our website or systems in a manner intended to damage Slab Gear Vault, Shopify, our service providers, or other users.
We may restrict or terminate access to the Services where we reasonably determine that these Terms have been violated.
SECTION 20 — DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
Except for any express written warranty provided by Slab Gear Vault and except where warranties cannot legally be excluded, the Services and products are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim warranties or conditions that may otherwise apply, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, durability, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the website will always be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or available.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies a warranty, consumer right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified.
SECTION 21 — LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SLAB GEAR VAULT AND ITS OWNERS, AFFILIATES, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, OR REPLACEMENT VALUE OF COLLECTIBLES OR OTHER PROPERTY, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR PRODUCTS.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SLAB GEAR VAULT'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM A PRODUCT PURCHASE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID TO SLAB GEAR VAULT FOR THE PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
THESE LIMITATIONS DO NOT APPLY TO LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LEGALLY BE LIMITED OR EXCLUDED.
SECTION 22 — INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Slab Gear Vault and its affiliates, owners, officers, employees, agents, contractors, licensors, and service providers from third-party claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Services, your material violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person's rights.
SECTION 23 — TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you materially violate these Terms or use the Services in a fraudulent, abusive, unlawful, or harmful manner.
Termination does not eliminate obligations or liabilities incurred before termination.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including provisions relating to intellectual property, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution, will continue to apply.
SECTION 24 — SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or severed to the minimum extent necessary.
The remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 25 — WAIVER AND ENTIRE AGREEMENT
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other right.
These Terms, together with the policies expressly incorporated into them, constitute the agreement between you and Slab Gear Vault concerning use of the Services and purchases made through the website.
SECTION 26 — ASSIGNMENT
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of assets, transfer of the business, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law.
SECTION 27 — GOVERNING LAW AND VENUE
These Terms and disputes arising from them will be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
To the extent legally permitted, disputes that are not otherwise resolved between the parties will be brought in the appropriate state or federal courts located in or serving Hillsborough County, Florida, and the parties consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Nothing in this section deprives a consumer of protections or rights that cannot legally be waived.
SECTION 28 — CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The current version will be posted on this page. Changes will become effective when posted unless applicable law requires additional notice.
Changes will not retroactively eliminate rights that have already accrued where prohibited by law.
